This trip introduces us to historical places in Loviisa; Strömfors iron works, the city of Loviisa itself and the unique Malmgård castle!
We start our day by visiting Strömford iron works, one of the best preserved iron work communities in our country. We go on a guided tour and learn about the iron works interesting history. There is also time to independently visit the craft men's workshops and do some shopping. We continue to Loviisa, where we enjoy a tasty lunch at the historical restaurant Loviisan Kappeli. Then it's time to get to know the city of Loviisa, we go on a guided bus- and walking tour and hear about Loviisa's history. We finish our day by visiting the beautiful Malmgård castle! We get at guided tour of the castle and afternoon coffee is served at Malmgård café. There's a possibility to buy organic grains, beer and other locally produced products from Malmgård's shop.
